From creative direction to writing, I create from the belief that stories make change.
And as stewards of story, we must know who we are, why we’re making the choices that we make, and how they are going to shape the future.
So, who am I? A book-reading, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, taco-slamming, team-nurturing, clarity-loving gal in Austin, TX.

What I’ve Done

I creative direct all of Oracle’s North American Experience Group to close the highest-priority enterprise deals faster through insights-driven storytelling and experiences. The 35 creatives on the Experience Group support 50+ deals per quarter with an average annual revenue of $130M. I directly manage a team of six art directors and writers. In spite of navigating immense organizational change, we have improved our capacity to support deals by 274% during my time as CD.
I believe that managing relationships to create a collaborative, thriving culture is just as important as managing the work. I’m all about empowering creative talent with a strategic vision, positive coaching, and grounded feedback—then getting out of the way so they can shine.

As a senior writer, I ideated experiences for sales pitches, wrote for key Oracle events, and created scalable assets that rolled out to the entire North American Applications sales organization of 9,000 + individuals.
I onboarded three more writers to meet growing demand and ensured consistency across the team, balancing delegating and mentoring with writing for my own projects.
I directly impacted more than $34M of revenue during FY22.

I increased Oracle’s chances of winning top priority deals worth one million ARR and up through impactful, consistent, and emotionally resonant communications. I wordsmithed strategies, set the emotional stage for sales teams by writing opening pitch stories, shaped all written content, and thrived in the grey area between creative writing and analytical thinking. I won business through a myriad of touchpoints, strategies, and skills—both inside and outside of my job description— all serving to elevate everything the team created.

As the first and only writer on Oracle’s Strategic Messaging and Experience team, I crafted stories and insights that humanized technology and sold more Oracle Cloud. I learned how to speak to the hearts and minds of a B2B audience. I contributed to closing over $25M worth of revenue in this role.

I spent my summer with the growth team at the Barkley Ad Agency in Kansas City. I translated Gen Z insights for a business audience and researched, ideated, and created blog campaigns to drive traffic to the Barkley website.

I got my first taste of creative life over a summer in Birmingham, AL. I pitched a campaign to Triumph Motorcycles that resulted in Triumph pursuing more conversations with Intermark.
